In 1967 Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Moore wrote “The Camperdown Elm” for a tree in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York City. At the time she was the elected president of New York’s Greensward Foundation, an advocacy group for public parks. Prospect Park Handbook by Lancaster describes the history and aesthetics of Prospect Park as Moore knew it. Forward by Moore. Part of an unnumbered limited edition signed by both Moore and Lancaster. A perfect gift for a Brooklyn bibliophile.
